Opening Christmas Presents

I hope you all had a great Christmas! I did! I received two pairs of cute doll shoes that I will be showing soon!

Here is a photostory of my doll's opening their Christmas presents!

The girls woke up and realized with a jolt of excitement, "IT'S CHRISTMAS TODAY!!!!!!".

 

Maggie, Beth, Brooke and Lia bounded to the Christmas tree. They squealed with joy and anticipation.

 

"Look at all the presents!" Beth cried happily.

 

Lia jumped up and down, "Just wait until you see what I got you Beth!"

 

"I'm so excited!" Maggie proclaimed.

 

"Let's start opening!" Brooke stepped towards the fireplace, where the stockings were hung by the chimney with care.

 

"Santa left us each a little treat! I got a Hershey bar!" Brooke showed it to the other girls.

 

"I got Crayons!" Lia said, holding the small box. Lia loved to color and make art.

 

"Crunch bar for me! Yummers!" Maggie said, "I'll try to save it until after we open the rest of the gifts."

 

"I got a Mr. Goodbar chocolate. Mmmmm..." Beth sighed with delight.

 

"Now, who will open the first gift of Christmas 2015?" Lia asked. She, Maggie, and Beth looked to Brooke who was, as the eldest, the ring leader of the group.

 

Brooke stated in a matter of fact tone, "Maggie. Open the one from me!"

 

Maggie didn't hesitate a moment. She hopped up and grabbed a big bag that said "To: Maggie, From: Brooke".

 

She pulled out the tissue paper, wondering what Brooke could have gotten her.

 

She stood up to get a better view.

 

"Ah! A picture of you and I at the park together! Thank you!" Maggie said.

 

"Your welcome," Brooke replied.

 

"Okay this one is from you Maggie," Beth announced.

 

"Open it quick!" Maggie returned.

 

"A ruffly skirt!" Beth stared.

 

"Stand up and let us see it!" Lia said. Beth did so, and held up the skirt.

 

"Thank you so much Maggie," Beth said as the two girls hugged.

 

It was Brooke's turn next. She unwrapped a pretty canvas painting from Lia.

 

Lia got a box of sidewalk chalk.

 

Maggie did a fist pump, "The Little Mermaid movie!"

 

Beth's jaw dropped, "This is awesome! An Adventures in Odyssey t-shirt!"

 

Brooke nodded, "That's to go with the skirt."

 

"Oh yeah, it matches!"

 

"Tap shoes!"

 

"A stuffy!"

 

There was a tall skinny present with Maggie's name on it.

 

"I wonder what this could be?" Maggie contemplated aloud.

 

Brooke said excitedly, "Well open it and see!"

 

"A light saber! Woohoo!" Maggie threw her hands in the air and did a pretend lightsaber battle. "Woosh, woosh woosh."

 

 

"The newest Adventures in Odyssey album! I know what I'm doing tonight!" Beth grinned.

 

"Whoa! A guitar!"

 

"I can't wait to learn to play!" Beth plucked at the strings.

 

"The last one is for me," Lia said as she stood to retrieve her gift from where it was nestled among the pine needles.

 

"Secret of the Wings movie! We should watch this tonight, Maggie!" Lia showed the other girls the DVD.

 

The girls gathered by the Christmas tree with their gifts for a photo.

 

Maggie smiled, "That was really fun!"

 

The girls erupted into a chorus of 'Merry Christmas's' and exclamations of joy.

I hope you liked the photostory! It was really fun to do, and to make or find gifts that each doll would like. Tomorrow I will be doing a post on how to make a CD case like the AIO one Beth received as a gift.
