Teddie's Bedroom Tour!

It's time to tour Teddie's bedroom! I haven't got her bedding made yet, but the rest of her room is pretty much complete.

Here is an overview. She has a loft bed, a chair, a dresser, some shelves, and clothes pins to hang things.

A closer look at her dresser, which is from JoAnn's. It is meant to be a jewelry box, but is a great size for AGs. I painted it light blue.

The top of the dresser has some shells, a jar of sand, and wooden letters for her initials "Teddie Rose". On the wall is a picture p, that I found by searching a Google Images, of Stitch surfing. The colors of the art were the inspiration for the colors of the bedroom. I made the picture using a AmericanGirlIdeas tutorial. 

To the left, there is a rocking chair that I have had for a while, but painted blue to match Teddie's decor.

The left wall has another piece of art that is all about the beach and mermaids. 

She's got a little backpack in the space between the chair and dresser. 

Now for a look at the shelf, which I made from a Home Depot pencil box kit. 

On the top shelf there is a shell, a sticker that says "laugh", and a necklace. The middle shelf has her white iPad (made with an AmericanGirlIdeas tutorial). The bottom shelf has a flower hair clip.

The right wall has a place to hang small items.

Her loft bed is made of foam board from the Dollar Tree. 

The foot board says "Surf". I made it out of foam board and craft foam. 

It is a great room for having a friend over!

Shoe Room and Teddie's Room Preview

Let's take a look at another doll room!

It's a small corner for shoes, accessories, and some toys.

Here are the shoes on the shoe shelf.

A shelf on the left wall has some toys, including a PlayMobil, some animals, and crayons.

On the floor are some stuffed animals.

That's all for that room!

Teddie's new room isn't ready to be toured yet, I still have to make her a bed. But, here is a little sneak peek:

Doll Room Tours --- Maggie and Brooke's Room

Let us continue our journey through the doll rooms! Today is Maggie and Brooke's room.

Here is an overview.

Maggie sleeps on the bottom bunk. She has a white minky blanket, green sheets and pillows, and a white minky decorative pillow.

Lotso lives on her bed as well.

Her bed stand is wooden and holds the picture she got for Christmas. (The Star Wars Legos are awaiting playtime.)

The lower shelf of the bed stand has some movies, candy, and a bouncy ball.

On the wall are some shelves. One holds some Star Wars figurines. The other is empty for now.

Under her bed, Maggie keeps her green light-saber that she got for Christmas.

 

At the end of the bed, there is a book bag hanging from the bed post. Inside the book bag is a Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster.

Now on to Brooke's sections of the room! She is designated the floor area at the end of the bed. Here she keeps some of her favorite shoes and her guitar. Her dog Curly mostly stays here too.

The right wall has some glow sticks and a painting.

Brooke sleeps on the top bunk. She has a purple mattress with a pink fleece pillow and blanket.

Since Brooke is a Frozen fan, she has some posters by her bed.

On the ledge at the edge of the bed, Brooke keeps random stuff like her fan, camera, mug, and homework.

Doll Room Tours -- Beth's Room

Jessica from Lunaville Dolls recently asked if I could do updated tours of my doll rooms. I thought that was a great idea! Since there are a lot of pictures, each room will have a separate post.

First up is Beth's room! Her room is themed red and blue, with Adventures in Odyssey items/decorations.

So this is an overview of her room...

First of all on the right wall by her bed she has a white wooden bed stand that I made. On the bottom shelf Beth has some Adventures in Odyssey albums (tutorial here), as well as her AIO ID card. On the second shelf up, she has another AIO album and a necklace.

On the top of her bed stand, Beth has a yellow candle and an AIO passport booklet.

Her bed is made from foam board and her blanket is fleece. Her pillow is red flannel. She keeps her Goofy stuffy on her bed :)

Above the bed I put this painting I made.

Now for the back wall! 

At the top of the wall, there are AIO letters that say Beth's name.

Below is a poster.

 

On the floor, Beth has a fur rug, which is just a piece of fabric from an old hoodie.

To the left and underneath the bed are some AIO cut and folds that Beth plays with.

 Finally, the left wall has a hook for her hat and cardigans. Above, is a shelf with a toy and a Tomorrowland "pin" I made from Shrink Paper.
